I am an experienced policy, product  and operations manager with a strong background in policy and stakeholder engagement.
I am a former Special Adviser to GDS on GOV.UK Verify and the former Head of Digital Identity services (Verify) at Post Office Ltd where I led large digital, product and service delivery to deliver improvements in user experience on the Identity Assurance Program (IDAP), GOV.UK Verify.
I have delivered change management and worked with new and evolving target operating models, on BAU to new proposition development, go to market strategies in digital identity services, Data Protection, GDPR,  Privacy & Consent,  AML and KYC.

I am a Board Director of London Mutual Credit Union.
I sit on the council of the Hansard Society.

I have a PhD in Political Science & Criminology from Loughborough University and a Masters Degree in Modern British Politics from the University of Hull. I studied under the renown academic and Conservative Peer, Professor the Lord Norton of Louth and I was mentored by the former Labour Home Secretar Rt Hon Charles Clarke.

I am the former Head of Operational Delivery at the Careers and Enterprise Company. In 2014, the Education Secretary Nicky Morgan announced the creation of a new careers and enterprise company to help young people unleash their best possible futures.

I am the former Special Adviser to Shaw Trust on its Ministry Of Justice Transforming Rehabilitation tender around the structure, the governance and the delivery model for implementation and roll out in the south West.

I am the founder of the public affairs think tank Yes Minister

Prior to setting up Yes Minister I was Head of Policy and Communications at the Centre for Economic and Social Inclusion.

I am the Former Chief Executive of the Social Policy think tank ROTA and previously worked for the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) as an adviser on the implementation of the new Home Office Guidelines on ‘Custody Visiting’.
